Longs of Leeds offers pallet, part and full load distribution across the country, with regular deliveries using our fleet of over 100 vehicles, ranging in size up to 44 tonne articulated lorries. We offer 2-3 day or next day delivery and all deliveries are tracked.
We have a dedicated depot for goods arriving into Hull at the Finland Terminal, in addition to our headquarters and distribution centre in Leeds, which makes us a leading choice for manufacturing and industry imports.
Our fleet of high quality DAF XF 105 series 44 vehicles distribute throughout the whole of the UK. We have in cab communication devices and each of our vehicles is fitted with a live satellite tracking system to enable us to pinpoint their position and monitor vehicle movements.

Pall-Ex Distribution
Since 1998 we have been members of the Pall-Ex overnight pallet system, offering next day or economy distribution for palletised freight. Members of Pall-Ex have to operate to a code of practice to ensure that a quality service is provided.
Using Pall-Ex we can guarantee next day deliveries and offer timed booking slots for a specified date. We use a range of sized vehicles to make sure we can make all deliveries straight to the storeroom, even those with restricted access.
As a Pall-Ex member we can also offer our customers the ‘Retail Plus Service’, transporting from retailers own distribution centres, though the network direct to the retailers’ high street stores and even take away the remaining pallet and packaging waste.
In 2018 a new software was introduced called MyNexus, an interface portal that allows customers to book and track their own pallets and even access their PODs and delivery vehicle GPRS data. Longs of Leeds are proud to support customers using this system in line with our existing customer services.
How we protect the environment
At Longs of Leeds we do our utmost to minimise the impact of our operations. We work hard to maintain our fleet of modern vehicles to the latest Euro standard to reduce emissions – and operate at the lowest practicable level to mitigate the impact of noise and emissions on the local community.
Longs of Leeds is committed to recycling and choosing sustainable alternatives where possible. We will also seek assurances when choosing to work with third parties that their practices safeguard the environment as well.
